ESMT Berlin cooperates with language learning app Babbel to enhance students’ command of German

ESMT Berlin is collaborating with the online language-learning app Babbel to provide international students another way to improve their German skills.

International Master’s in Management students at ESMT already take German as part of the curriculum, and Full-time MBA students may choose to take courses once a week. ESMT students will receive access to the app at no charge. In exchange, the international business school will provide Babbel with thought leadership content for its public webpages, as well as feedback on the users’ learning experience. The language learning app and e-learning platform Babbel was founded in 2007 and provides interactive online language learning courses in 14 languages.

“Having Babbel as our partner for digital language learning partner adds greatly the services we offer for our students to learn German,” said Nick Barniville, Associate Dean of Degree Programs at ESMT. “While all of our degree programs are held in English, we encourage our international students who plan to stay in the country to learn German to increase their job options on graduation.”
