ESMT alumni initiate scholarship in the non-profit sector
The Alumni Network of ESMT European School of Management and Technology has established a full-tuition scholarship for a qualified full-time or executive MBA program participant. The Alumni Network Fellowship is directed at top applicants from the non-profit sector who plan to continue to return to this area after graduation. The Alumni Network has initiated the scholarship to support diversity within the MBA programs. The scholarship covers the full tuition and fees of the one-year full-time MBA or the 18-month Executive MBA program at the international business school.
"With this fellowship, the Alumni Network would like to further strengthen the variety of talented students at ESMT, while at the same time, giving back to the school," said Santiago Remón, co-initiator of the scholarship and graduate of the ESMT MBA Class of 2008. "The great diversity of backgrounds and perspectives of my fellow students greatly enriched my time at ESMT." Interested candidates must meet the enrollment requirements of ESMT and express their interest in the scholarship when applying to the program. In addition to a first degree, applicants must show several years of work experience in a non-profit organization and be committed to returning to the non-profit world.
"We are proud that our alumni are so strongly linked to ESMT and support us in our goals of educating responsible leaders who practice sustainable management," remarked Becky Gilbert, Head of Development and Alumni Relations at ESMT. In 2011 ESMT European School of Management and Technology placed 29th worldwide and 4th in Europe in the Aspen Institute’s ranking of sustainability in MBA programs Beyond Grey Pinstripes.
ESMT European School of Management and Technology was founded in October 2002 by 25 leading global companies and institutions.
