ESMT dedicates Best Teacher Award to honor Prof. Mario Rese
ESMT European School of Management and Technology has dedicated the Best Teacher Award for its Executive and Full-time MBA programs to the Mario Rese Best Teacher Award. Prof. Mario Rese, who passed away suddenly on March 5, 2013, had been a part of ESMT since the school's founding in 2002 and had been honored with awards for teaching excellence himself, including the Best Teacher Award carrying his name in the future.
The Mario Rese Best Teacher Award is presented twice a year at the graduation of the Executive MBA and Full-time MBA programs. The recipient of the award is chosen by a direct vote among the members of the graduating MBA or EMBA class of each year and must be an ESMT full-time faculty member who delivered a course to the respective class.
ESMT President Jörg Rocholl said, “I cannot think of a better way to honor Mario Rese, as he was an exceptional teacher. As one of his students wrote at his passing, ‘His passion in teaching and honest dedication to his students will be in our memories forever.’”
