ESMT founds International Advisory Council

ESMT European School of Management and Technology has founded a new advisory body, the International Advisory Council (IAC), which took up its work at the beginning of this year. The Board of Trustees of the ESMT Foundation has initiated the IAC to provide advice on the school’s strategic direction, to promote the relationship between ESMT, its founders, and other institutions linked to the business school, and above all, to foster ESMT’s mission.

With the establishment of the IAC, ESMT is following international standards. The chairman of the new body is Michael Diekmann, Chairman of the Board of Management, Allianz SE. The IAC is made up of well-known representatives of ESMT’s founding companies, who have already been active in other boards of ESMT. As ESMT continues to become more international, the IAC will appoint additional members. The responsibilities and duties of the ESMT Supervisory Board and the ESMT Foundation Board of Trustees remain unchanged by the addition of the International Advisory Council.

ESMT’s mission is to develop entrepreneurial leaders who think globally, act responsibly and respect the individual. With a heritage rooted in European values and the potential of technology, ESMT develops and imparts new knowledge to foster sustainable economic growth.
