Sumitro Banerjee appointed Ferrero Chair in International Marketing at ESMT
Sumitro Banerjee, Associate Professor at ESMT European School of Management and Technology in Berlin, has been named the Ferrero Chair in International Marketing as of July 1, 2012. Prof. Banerjee joined ESMT in 2009, coming from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University. He received his PhD in management with a specialization in marketing from INSEAD in 2004. Prof. Banerjee is a quantitative researcher concentrating on game theoretic models of market phenomena. His research focuses on innovation, R&D, and market entry decisions, including timing of launch.
