ESMT Berlin has received institutional reaccreditation from the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) for a further 10 years without any conditions. The council confirmed the international business school’s right to award PhDs and also sees no need for ESMT to be accredited again. The decision was based on the business school’s exceptional academic performance and its globally recognized excellence in research and teaching.
Firms that receive research and development (R&D) credits are much more likely to acquire venture capital (VC) backed startups, alongside investing in their own R&D efforts, according to new research by ESMT Berlin.
Starting June 1, 2024, ESMT Berlin will offer seven fully furnished shared apartments to provide affordable housing for its students in Berlin. Each apartment will accommodate up to six people and is owned by the Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Berlin-Mitte mbH.
