ESMT Berlin and SKOLKOVO Business School to cooperate in business education
ESMT Berlin and the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate more closely in business education, thus promoting academic exchange between German and Russian organizations. The international business schools aim to establish a unique platform for advocating informal business-focused dialog between Europe and Russia. Furthermore, they plan to work together in degree and executive education programs, in the development of teaching methods and materials, in research, and to encourage an exchange of students between the two institutions.
The signing took place on October 17 in Moscow in an official ceremony with Andrei Sharonov, President, SKOLKOVO Business School, and Jörg Rocholl, President, ESMT Berlin, in the presence of Dmitri Medvedev, Prime Minister of Russia. Other guests included Jack Ma, Founder and Executive Chairman, Alibaba Group, and Francesco Starace, Chief Executive Officer, Enel.
