ESMT Berlin celebrates German Diversity Day

ESMT Berlin has signed the “Charta der Vielfalt” (Diversity Charter), thus joining Germany’s largest network of companies and organizations committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment in which to work and learn.

The school celebrates this by taking part in the initiative’s German Diversity Day today.

At an internal event, hosted by the ESMT Inclusive Leadership Roundtable (ILRT), staff, faculty, and students have the opportunity to learn about the school’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. The ILRT is an effort by ESMT to prioritize these values and practices within the school and champion them in academia and the business community.

The Charta der Vielfalt aims to promote the recognition, appreciation, and integration of diversity into Germany’s business culture. Members create a working environment free of biases in which all employees are valued, regardless of gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or worldview, physical ability, age, and sexual orientation. Over 3,100 companies and organizations with a total of more than 12 million employees have already signed.
